THE SUPREME INSULT

Pst!..Pst!…; you know what: I feel a little tired, not you? I believe that it's time we take a small break before approaching our last subject: mass. Let us go; a small refreshment and a good draft of air; it is going to straighten up us to end successfully our study , so long… we meet again in…20 minutes…see you soon.

Corpus Christi 1969: in Rome, is put down a document which will fall under the oath of secrecy. This document (The Brief Critical Exam) is signed by two cardinals (Ottaviani and Bacci) of world reputation and recognized for their love of the Church and their integrity in the faith; these two Prelates of the Holy Church will launch a cry of alarm in front of the " new mass of Paul VI ".

Methodically, coolly, they will analyze it and will draw very grave conclusions for all the Catholics. With the aim of waking up slept consciousnesses, we shall quote here wide extracts of this document, knowing that they will be enough, for whoever is sincere, honest, to understand that the " new mass of Paul VI " is the worst sacrilege, the biggest of the attempts committed against God of all the history of the humanity. (Sacrilege: distort or profane something sacred).

" The new ordo missae (N.O.M.) goes away in a impressive way, altogether as in the detail, from the theology of the Holy Mass, such as it was formulated in the XX th Session of the Council of Trent, by fixing definitively the "Canons" of the rite, raised an unbridgeable barrier against any heresy which could endanger at the integrity of the Mystery…So many novelties appear in the new ordo missae, and, on the other hand, so many eternal things are there relegated single minor or in an another place, if even they find there another place, that could be strengthened and changed in certainty the doubt, which, regrettably, insinuates itself into numerous circles, according to which the truths always believed by the Christian people could change or be spent under silence without any unreliability in the sacred deposit of the doctrine to which catholic faith is bound for the eternity."

"We want to make a clean sweep of any theology of the Mass. In substance, we get closer to the Protestant theology which destroyed the sacrifice of the Mass …The new ordo missae is made to satisfy on many most modernistic points of the Protestants … "
"Definition of the Mass"

"The Sunday Last Supper is the synaxe (religious assembly) sacred or the assembling of the people of God meeting under the presidency of the priest to celebrate the memorial of the Lord. That is why is desserved excellently for the local assembly of the holy Church the promise of the Christ: " There where two or three are reunited in my name, I am among of them " (Matt, XVIII). " The definition of the Mass is so reduced to a "last supper": and it reappears constantly (in numbers 8 , 48 , 55, 56 of the Institutio Generalis). This "last supper" is moreover characterized as being that of the assembly chaired by the priest, that of the assembly reunited to realize " the memorial of the Lord", which reminds what he made Maundy Thursday."

" All this do not imply either real Presence, or reality of the Sacrifice, or sacramental character of the priest which consecrate, nor the intrinsic value of the eucharistic Sacrifice, independently of the presence of the assembly …In brief, this new definition does not contain any of the dogmatic facts which are essential in the Mass and which constitute the real definition of it. "

" The neglect, in such a place, of these dogmatic facts, can be only voluntary. Such a voluntary neglect means their " overtaking " and, at least in practice, their negation … The new definition of the number 7 is at once followed, in the number 8, by the division of the Mass in two parts: liturgy of the word, eucharistic liturgy. "

" This division is accompanied by the assertion that Mass contains preparation:

"There is there an assimilation of two parts of the liturgy, as if it was about two signs of equal symbolic value. Assimilation which is absolutely illegitimate …The new ordo missae (N.O.M) uses to designate the Mass numerous expressions which would be relatively quite acceptable. They are to be rejected all of them if we use them as they are them-selves, separately and absolutely (?); each of them acquiring an absolute meaning from the fact that they are used separately. Here are some of them:

" It is obvious that the authors of the new ordo missae emphasized, in a obsessional way, the Last Supper and on the memory that we made of it, and not on the renewal (not bloody) of the sacrifice of the Cross."

"Ends of the mass"

" Ultimate end:…consist of what it is a sacrifice of praise in the Very Holy Trinity, according to the primordial intention of the Incarnation, declared by the Christ himself: " Entering the world, he says: You did not want either victim or oblation, but you formed me a body " (Ps.40 , 7-9; Heb. X, 5). This ultimate end is essential; the new ordo removes it: first, of the Offertory, where the prayer Suscipe Sancta Trinitas (or Suscipe Sancte Pater) is not metionned any more; secondly, of the conclusion of the mass, which does not contain any more the Placeat tibi Sancta Trinitas; thirdly, of the Preface: because the Preface of the Holy Trinity will be pronounced only once a year..."

" Immanent end: …consists of what mass is essentially a sacrifice. Now, it is essential in the Sacrifice, whatever is the nature of it, to be approved of God .The new ordo denatures the offering by degrading it. It make consists it of a sort of exchange among God and the man: the man brings the bread and God changes it in bread of life; the man brings the wine, and God changes it in spiritual drink; " You are blessed, Lord God of the universe, because of your generosity we received the bread (or the wine) which we offer you, fruits of the earth (or of the vineyard) and of the work of the man, from where results for us the bread of life (or: the spiritual drink) ".

"Is it need to point out that expressions such as " bread of life and spiritual drink " can mean anything … By this confusion, the specific particularity of the Host intended for the Sacrifice is abolished; in sort that participation in the immolation of the Victim will become philanthropists' meeting or banquet of charity …"

" The mystery of the Cross is not expressed any more in a explicit way… the change of formula reveals the change of doctrine … The reason for which Sacrifice is not mentioned any more explicitly is that we abolished the central role of the Real Presence …The word itself of Transsubstantiation does not appear anywhere … "

Do not make big eyes like that; I know, it is a big word, " transsubstantiation ", but it is not so complicated; it is a word, not a monster; it means simply that in the consecration, the bread and the wine (their substances) are changed to the Body and the Blood of the Christ. Actually, they kept their outside appearances: savours, smells, but their substances are changed because, now, it is the Christ with His Body, His Blood, His Soul and His Divinity. Happy to have saved you the bend of the dictionary.

"Finally, it is impossible not to notice the abolition or the change of the gestures by which expresses itself spontaneously faith in the Real Presence … "

" All these abolitions are only accentuating in a provocating way implicit rejection (nowadays, opened) of the Real Presence …"

I, that gives me the taste to lament to see that my God is treated with so much contempt; we make more case of a poor dog, by surrounding him with care and with heat, that of the Creator of any life.

The Brief Critical Exam comes to analyze the tone of the formula of the consecration. He notes the narrative tone, which deprives gestures of their sacramental character: the intimatif tone being the only one used in the Church, since the apostolic times. The priest of Vatican II does not act any more in the person of the Christ, he is simply a storyteller of histories to his flocks, too much asleep, doubtless, to realize the change. The grotesque cheer of the assistance after the consecration: " We announce your death, Lord until you come " comes with cynicism to deny the fact of the Real and Physical Presence of Jesus Christ on the altar. Malediction to the world for this denial; it would be better for the men of this century of not be alive rather than to drag so the Christ in the derision.

"Situation of the priest in the new rite"

"The role of the priest is minimized, changed, falsified…it will be only a sort of ecclesiastical rank, hardly distinguished from the mass by one or two stripes…The priest will be, as a matter of fact, according to the formula of a modern preacher " a man a little more man than the others. "

"The desacralisation is carried in its limits by new and sometimes grotesque modalities of the offering. Emphasis on the common bread instead of the unleavened bread….the woman, for the first time in all the history of the Church, will be admitted to do the readings of the Holy Scriptures and to carry out other ministries … … "

Listen; we are going to empty the question once and for all. The role of the woman in the Church. Me, it goes out by my ears all these feminist lamentations, this whimpering on a vocation reserved for the men. It is true; the priesthood is reserved for the men, according to the God's express will; we are not going all the same to begin to disagree with Him, who is True Wisdom. The woman, in the Church, always held a role of an extreme importance; it is necessary to be ignorant of the history so beautiful of the Church not to know it. The life of the Church, its development, its works, its charity been quite connected with the woman. Thérèse d' Avila, Catherine de Sienne, Thérèse of the Enfant Jesus, Marguerite Marie, Marguerite Bourgeois, Louise de Marillac, Joan of Arc and a quantity of others, uncountable, were, each in their century, the breath of the Church, her heart, if I can say so. What have these holy women to be envied to priests? Nothing, because God's love does not rely on the dress or on the power which one possesses but on the tenderness of love which one carries to God and, in this domain, the woman often exceeded the man.

How much is there priests' parishes canonized in your opinion? No, you put a little bit too many. ONE, the parish Priest d'Ars. It shows well that holiness does not become automatically in.Orders … The moon will never be sun, and, nevertheless, if one removed it, the balance of the creation would be destroyed; the river will never be the ocean and, nevertheless, if it dried out, the ocean would not know how to live without it; the woman will never be the man and God allocated to the one as to the other one a mission so high as, when one or the other one misses there, the harmony of the humanity suffers from it.

"…the eucharistic prayers II can be employed calmly of consciousness by a priest who does not believe any more either in the transsubstantiation (change of "species" in the Body and in the Blood of the Christ), or in the sacrificial character of the Mass…can serve for the celebration of a Protestant Minister…"

" It is obvious that the new ordo missae (N.O.M.) repudiate, in fact, being the expression of the doctrine which the Council of Trent defined as being of divine and catholic faith. "

" And, however, catholic consciousness remains for ever be obliged to this doctrine. As a result the promulgation of the new ordo missae (N.O.M) puts every Catholic in the tragic necessity of choosing. "

Time is urgent; now is the time to choice: are you with or against the Christ?
